About Me 

Hi my name is Liv and I’m a passionate sports media professional with a rich background in athletics and storytelling. Growing up in a sports-centric family—my dad was a Division I basketball coach and my mom an athletic director—I found myself immersed in the world of sports from a young age. While I briefly considered pursuing a different path in college, I quickly realized that my true calling was in the world of sports.

At the University of Oregon, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with a variety of organizations, including the Oregon Athletic Department and Sports Illustrated, where I've produced engaging content that goes beyond the game. My favorite projects are the one-on-one interviews I've conducted with coaches and athletes. I love uncovering the unique stories that make sports so much more than just competition; it’s about the journeys, the challenges, and the triumphs that shape lives.

Through my experiences, I’ve developed strong relationships with many athletes, some of whom have gone on to play professionally. These connections have given me a deeper understanding of the profound impact that sports can have—both positively and negatively. My background also provides me with insights into the inner workings of athletic departments, thanks to conversations with athletic directors and faculty.

As I aspire to become a sports broadcaster, I’m excited about the using my analytical skills and knowledge of various sports to dissect plays and player performances. More importantly, I want to continue sharing the narratives behind the athletes and coaches, proving that there’s always a story bigger than the game itself.

Building relationships is at the core of my approach. I believe that fostering trust and openness with everyone I work with—from athletes to producers—enhances not only my work but also the overall storytelling experience. When people feel comfortable, they share their truths, and that’s when the magic happens.

Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with family and friends, enjoying the great outdoors, and traveling whenever I can.
